Meet the Southwest Region Comfort Dogs

Phoebe Comfort Dog
​Placed in Ft. Worth, Tx - January 2014
Phoebe, born August 31, 2012, was the first dog placed in Texas. She works at St. Paul Lutheran, Ft Worth and Summit, Aledo. Phoebe and her two siblings  - Susie and Lila were the last dogs trained at Dwight Correctional Institution in IL. Her Bible verse is Matthew 11:29.

Gabriel Comfort Dog
Placed in Houston, TX - November 2017
Gabriel, located at Messiah Lutheran in Houston, is Elijah’s brother. His birthday is March 26, 2016.
​His Bible verse is Hebrews 13:2.

Triton Comfort Dog
Placed in Plano, TX - August 2018
Triton, is located at Messiah Lutheran in Plano. His  birthday is March 16, 2017.

Damaris Comfort Dog

Damaris, the second girl placed in Texas, lives in Katy. Her home church is Memorial Lutheran. She was born May 25, 2015. Her Bible verse is Isaiah 30:21. Her sister, Lizzie, lives in Savannah, GA.

Pax Comfort Dog

Pax which means peace was born May 15, 2014. He works at St. Paul Lutheran, Ft Worth and  Summit, Aledo. His sibling Asher lives in IL.

Elijah was born March 26, 2016 and works out of Our Redeemer in Wichita Falls. His Bible verse is Luke 1: 16-17. His brother is Gabriel.
