Memory Care Facilities

As the population continues to age, more memory care units open in our area. We see residents in various stages of memory loss and dementia. But one amazing thing many of us have observed is the fleeting glimpse of reality as a resident feels the fur or leash and for a moment remembers a pet now gone. Brief smiles or words are also rewards of those glimpses.
